Sinking wood.

Not sure what the wood is but it doesn’t feel too soft when you try to dig into it. It was standing dead in my woods. I just pushed them over and cut them up. I pressure washed it then soaked it for 48 hours in 4B5424BD-C03A-417B-A0E6-F9E16AA5A520.jpegE549DAB8-EC44-45E9-BCE5-D4E596B0B026.jpega 55 gallon drum with a couple gallons of bleach. Pressure washed again then started soaking in fresh water. It’s been two weeks and it’s becoming less buoyant but not sure what to expect.
Oh well, if it doesn’t work I don’t have a dime invested.

I agree, that once the wood is waterlogged, it will look great in your tank. What I noticed most about your thread really wasn't the wood, it was your extremely clean garage. Viewing made me realize how lazy I've been regarding spring cleaning. I guess I'll be pushing a broom & hauling trash in the very near future. Lol. Good luck with your project.
