This sucks when i was doing my weekly water change i accidently siphoned 2 yellow tail congo tetras hiding behind the plants. lesson learned is keep siphon where you can see it.:irked:

That sucks (punn intended)

I agree you do have to be careful. I accidentally siphoned up a small pictus cat a couple of years back. Big siphon small fish bad idea.

Siphoned a panda corydoras and it never survived. Tough luck.:(

siphoned a couple of danios yesterday. they are fine

I siphoned up a foot long O once. Stuck the python in the tank, turned on the water, came back to check it 20 minutes later. He was stuck. And pissed.

at my friends house he forgot to put the end of his filter pump on and a large snail that he was trying to breed got sucked in and died and than a week later he forgot agian in his other tank and one of his new blood parrots got sucked into the part that you cant see and when it started getting cloudy he looked in and it was stuck in the middle of the whole thing dead. it was sad:(
