I notice floating at the top without swimming alot about 10 min. After feeding time when he/she has a full belly but have only known my aro to rest on the the Bottom a lot when it was stressed out from another tankmate or water quality.

^agreed, now you need to find out whats causing this stress to your aro, it would help if you could give more info like tank size and parameters, tank mates ect.
