siver aro with gar?

hey guys i was wondering if a siver arowona will make good tankmates with a spotted gar.....im planning to get them and there both around 15 cm so i wasnt sure if they get along

but from my uncle in malaysia, he has gars with his arowanas and its a mean tank. no problems what so ever.

I have a Florida with my asians. have had gators with my silvers. never a problem, as long as size is compatible.

got 2 spotteds and 2 shortnose gar with my silvers, big enough tank, and big enough so they wont eat eachother. all should be well

I have also been told Gar are a very good tank mate so long as the size is similar. I was told to stick with a Spotted or Florida though as the Alligator get WAY to big for Home aquaria unless you have an INSANE tank.

unless you have a couple thousand gallons your better off with the Florida and or Spotted gars..i like the Florida Gars... they look cool but don't have any since their banned over here in Cali either way their really great tankmates as size isn't to far off
