Six Holes in Weir?

Hi all,

I have just purchased a 10’ tank and it includes a central weir which has six holes in the bottom of it.

Any ideas why it has this many? How is it designed to be set up?

Presumably it has a sump as well.

Hole sizes would also help clear things up.

I'm guessing 2 holes for 1" bulkheads as the drains and 4 holes for 3/4" bulkheads for the returns.

2 drains, 2 emergency drains, 2 return lines maybe? What are the hole sizes?

I bought a used tank. Any idea what over type is this?

its got 5 holes. All one inch. Three drains, corners are supply
