lol, 2 posts into this and we already derailed. Back on track people!!!

Thats amazing. I only wish I could bag six deer. I have one kill and a wound under my belt in all 5 years I have been hunting :irked:. That is the kind of kid I want to have some day.

You are the best mod thats not a mod! You should be proud! :irked:

Anyhow the number of deer you can kill depends on the state you hunt. In the state and county I hunt in I can kill two does and a buck a DAY for the entire season. There are no tags or anyhting like that you have to purchase. A friend of my dad has already harvested 30+ animals this year!

Even though I can legally harvest that many deer, I average less then one deer a season. However, this year due to the severe drought in the South we are harvesting many does. Of course any nice buck as well!!

I thought you could only shoot bucks..?

Depends on where you are, some states have buck, doe, buck and doe, rifle, bow, and primitive hunting seasons and even allow multiple tags in some categories. Other states have only buck seasons with usuall rifle, bow, and Black powder divisions.

In aus you don't need tags, you just go on a friends 1,000,000 hectare property (I'm not exaggerating about the 1,000,000 hectares.) and Just kill Roos', Pigs, Dogs, dingoes, Feral cats, hairs, rabbits, foxes, Even sometimes feral goat which i might add are HUGE, they stand more then 6' tall.
