Size/Age for Oscar's to breed?

What age or size can Oscars breed?
I have been watching my 2 practicing I think...
They were lip biting, now they are swimming together and near the bottom they look like they are vibrating.

I've never bred oscars but I have heard that they have been domesticated to the point that many will court but never actually get to the point that the fry are raised up. Good luck! Also be prepared to give away the babies because most pet stores probably won't be willing to pay for them.

I've seen vibration and lip locking as an aggression over territory displays. I've heard you need a decent sized tank for them to breed in.
