Size Compatibility for Sen and Del

I've had a Sen for a few months and just moved him from the 10 gallon to a 55. I also just bought a Del and put him into quarantine/growout in the 10.

The Sen is about 4.5-5 inches and the Del is about 2.5-3 inches. It doesn't seem like that much of a difference, but their thicknesses lead me to believe the Del can fit into the other's mouth.

At what size can I move them together and how long will this take?

For the past 3 months the Sen has been tankmates with a 2in Kribensis and a 2in Electric Yellow Cichlid with absolutely no aggression towards them, if this makes a difference.

I've personally never had a bichir ever attempt to eat another, regardless of species (sens and dels are the only 2 i've kept).

they should be fine...just watch for any agresstion...if it was an endli at 4-5" and anything else at 2-3" i would say don't do it...as i first hand have seen my endli try and eat a sa lung when the size diff. was similar...
