I have 6 small (1.5-2") green terrors in a 35 (temporary while I wait for my 75 to cycle.) I have a friend that wants to get rid of his green terror because it keeps picking on his convicts. His is probably 2.5-3" but much thicker in the body than mine. Probably double their overall size. Would I be ok to add him or should I let him find a different home?

Eh I'd say no, the larger one may get settled then take over.

At that size, they are still juveniles and will get alone. GT become sexually active at around 4" and the aggression level will go up and you will start to have problem. Male GT can hit 10" and female about 1/3 smaller. A 75 gal can only house one full grown male GT with one or more females as male GTs will attempt to eliminate his competitors.

I plan on keeping 1 breeding pair in my 75. I was told to buy about 6 and let 2 pair off naturally and then I will get rid of the others.
