How much differance is there between black aro and silver? Can black stay happy for life in a 72X24X25 tank?

A black sure....A silver? I wouldnt try to house one in a tank that size for life.

Blacks are more slender and have a bluish blackish tone and pattern on the fins. Also they're groth rate is a bit slower than a silver and dont get as big....around 3 foot or so and is a bit more tame and better for tank mates than a silver. They also are more of a rare type to find and buy, around $150 to about $200. They dont get eye droop either.:D

Silvers are a bit more stocky then the blacks and have a great silver shine to them, they grow really fast till about 2 feet then they start to bold out and slow in growth in total body length. Very affordable considering they are a long lived fish...about 20 years or so. $20 for a baby $60-$70 for a 6-7 inch juvinille and about $150 for a nice large specimin. Some do get droop eye, they say from crappy water conditions, fatty foods...gold fish, etc dont get it wrong, they are terriffic fish to own,:D
