I was wondering if it would be totally safe to put my new 4.5 inch delhz in with my other three 6 inch bichirs once he is done quaretine ,in about three more weeks, even if his girth size is still not the same as theirs. Or if I should wait. I mean he looks long enough, but not fat enough.

I also worry about the dominance nipping going on as he is not their full size in length or girth yet, and he might get more badly hurt than if he was, say heftier like them.

What do you all think?

senegalus and delhezi are not that agressive with each other. I have large lower jaw with my 6-8 inch dehezi and senegalus no problems but small lower jaw and bigger lower jaw it is always something. keep AN I OUT. BUT i THINK IT WILL WORK

shouldn't be a prob. but keep an eye out the only aggressive bichir I ever owned was a sen.

i'm sure you'll get it fattened up by then and won't be worrying about it anymore.
