I'd say you'd need Dats at least 6-8" long, and then you should go with an aro 10-12". To give yourself the best chance for things to work out.

T1KARMANN Giant Snakehead MFK Member Sep 19, 2005 10,106 134 147 58 London UK Jun 2, 2009 #5 aros don't seam to eat even small tigers i have had my 18 inch chili red with my 4 inch NGT with no problems or hiding places if you have the hiding places the aro wont see the tiger all the time and when he pops out for food the aro will see something new and attack its not like this is a 1 off thing i had 9 12 inch aros with 3 inch NGT and 4 inch NTT Other fish don't seam to eat tigers its like they know the sharp dorsal fine will do them internal damage if they eat them
