Size?

Hey Guys I'm kinda new to the whole sump idea and am wonder what size would be ok for a 100? If any has a diagram to explain how they work that would be great also. Can I convert one of my empty tanks to a sump? I have a 10, 30, and 55 gallon available

Generally, bigger is better. Your 30 would work on the 100 but the 55 would be better. As for Diagrams, there are billions of stickys on here.

X2. Just keep it simple, filter sock, submerged media like Matrix, and as little baffles as possible.
