What the other person said probably 4-5 BUT Arowana are usually very sensitive when you first get them and IF that Oscar has been left alone in that tank for some time he may be territorial and pick on the arowana a little I had 2 albino tigers oscars about 9 inches in a 150 gallon alone I added a 11 inch arowana kept bugging him so I had to separate for a while every fish like us are different and everyone has different experiences you should be ok as long as the arowana is not too small I would keep a close eye on the tank in case of anything

Yeah I have three oscars and a few small black belts with a convict in the tank and everything has been going okay but I do have one more tank set up just in case crap hits the fan. I'm not going to waste $50 on a fish just to let it get eaten hahahhaha

Arowanas are slender fish and if the Oscar and wanted to, I'm sure he could eat/ kill it. I'm no expert but I would go for about 3-5 inches bigger then the Oscar.

What food are you feeding yours

I'm thinking about getting food from yourfishstuff.com but I don't know if you have recommendations because at that website it's all natural and has no grain or any fillers

I really like Hikari they have high quality food, I also feed mine a lot of frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, silversides, cut up shrimp from the market, and OCCASIONALLY live food you don't want an arowana on live food too much because after a while that'll be all they want to eat
