I'm not and never really was,it wasn't as popular when I was a kid as it is now,but my ten year old son is really into it. I take him to the different skate parks in the area.
Love watching it but haven't been on a board in 18 years. I still have my Powell Peralta caballero board with bullet wheels and thunder trucks incase I get the urge.
I used too, but I messed my knee up bad, and when I went to the hospital the doctor stuck a needle and jammed it up in my knee cap and messed my knee all up so I dont even try to because my knee is always hurting. I still have my brand new $400 zero skateboard hanging in my garage that Ive been trying to sell...

I had to quit as soon as I first started learning. I had one of those large construction staples used on house tore open my right ankle. I was only 10 when it happened.
Used to skate back in the day, still have a few decks i used for keepsakes, as well as two mint condition Power Peralta Lance Moutain Boards from the 80's...
But as far as actually getting back on a deck... thats not going to happen... stuffed up my hip, cracked my head open and many other injuries forced me out of the game many years ago... now all i do is ride my mountain bike, and thats even a rarity now a days...
