Skating Fun

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have a breeding group of 10 adults in a tank with a few brown banded and white spotted bamboo sharks, two bonnetheads and an atlantic sharpnose shark. 20'×4' pool, with a sand filter, bio tower, and carbon filter. I keep them at 74*F. They produced nearly 100 eggs for me this breeding season so far. The eggs take around 3 months to hatch. the babies and eggs are hanging out in floating rubbermaid bins with a bunch of holes in them, in a 300 gallon pool that i made the filtration on.

Sweet! Definitely post pics

Very cool. Were all the pups from the same parents? When they are born are they large enough to take normal sized ghost shrimp? Water temp? Do you have pictures of the egg case. I ask because I have what I believe is a clearnose skate egg.
