Skidish peacock bass

Hey guys I have 2 peacock bass about 7" and they are very skidish from what I've heard/read they are usually only skidish when they are younger but they just seem to be getting worse.. And I don't know why? If you guys could give me some ideas to prevent them from being so skidish that would be great! Thanks

Tankmates? what size tank? add another bass.

They are in with a 5" silver datnoid, 6" redtail cat and a 8" florida gar and the tank is 135 gallons.
