both of my skimmers are blowing ALOT of tiny bubbles into the tank when i turn the both on...

is there any reason this could be happening with BOTH? i'd have to think it's a water issue if they are both doing it

it's a bakpak dual pro and a seaclone 150

That's pretty strange... Did you look in the manual?

my seaclone did that once, but it actually just resolved itself. I'm not sure what caused it but it did go away after a while.

The water here (in less than one week old synthetic saltwater) makes extremely tiny microbubbles that take forever to go away. This never happens in freshwater, and never in more than 2 week old saltmix water.

Did you recently clean the skimmer? cuz you might have washed off the bio-film so the skimmer will need to break in again

i believe i lost both manuals, and online doesn't seem to have much,

i haven't cleaned them ever they are no more than 5 months old

when i was running a seaclone the longest time ago, i noticed the bubbles were worse the more air getting in. Makes sense. If you shut the air valve all the way and let it run for a minute or two, and then slowly open it again, and get it where you like it, this should resolve the majority of the bubbles. You will however see some no matter what. another method i did was make a plastic teeth like piece and fit it on the outlet with some floss in front of it. This took me a while to mod so it didnt restrict the water flow a lot and cause an over flow, it worked very nicely and only needed changing every two weeks or so.

Big part of your problem. Seaclones are generally just a big waste of space. If you invest in a Remora or similar skimmer you will notice a LOT more stuff in your collection cup. When my brother and I had a seaclone there were bubbles and we emptied the collection cup about once a month. The remora increased water quality, clarity, and way fewer bubbles were in the tank. In the beggining we were emptying the collection cup once a day... Seaclones are kinda a ripoff. Nice for aerating the water though...

revisit...

fleshy, i have a BakPak dual pro on the tank as well, i figured the seaclone would be added flow and some light skimming (the 100 on my 29 works pretty nice)

mic...
yes there is
