Hi guys,
Just joined this forum because I'm after some info ASAP for one of my Motoro Stingray's. Her skin is damaged or peeling on the lower back end.

I have a pair of male and female since September last year and regularly have had their water changed.

Can someone please enlighten me on what could have caused this . My tank is 6ft by 3 ft by 3 ft and the Rays live with 2 large pleco's 1 Australian Gudgeon snakehead and plenty of driftwood. Also has UV steriliser as well.

Many thanks

Could be heater burn or your plecos are sucking on it.

the uncaged heater in ur pic would most likely be the culprit... make urself a heater cage outta pvc or place ur heater in ur sump if possible.

i have kicked out a large pleco 14" for sucking on my rays before but yours look really bad so im not too sure.
