I came across two turquoise discus the other day for a great price so I took them home with me. After closer inspection once home, I notice the smaller one (about 2.5-3 in) was very skinny, with a concave forehead. The other looks to be much more full looking. Both act fine but will not eat flake food, only frozen brine/mysis shrimp and bloodworms. Does this sound most likely like an internal parasite? I have prazipro so should I dose the whole tank? I do not have a QT tank. Id like to hear your opinions as soon as possible so I can treat these guys and get them as healthy as they should be!

I would use Metro and prazi (API General Cure) soak some food using a full packet with just enough water to wet it leave the food for about 20 mins and dump the whole thing into the tank. Treat the tank as directed on the package one pack per ten gallons of water. Do a 50% water change before treatment and keep the tank temp at about 85 degrees.

very well could be parasites. treat as aquanero directed. Though sadly it also maybe Mycobacterium

I'm hoping it's just parasites or possibly the stress of being moved? I had to go with just the Prazipro as Metro really isn't readily available to me and I wanted to treat as soon as possible. It's been a little over 24 hours and they seem to be a bit more active swimming about the tank and picking at the driftwood. The smaller of the 2 refused to eat the brine shrimp but hopefully he'll eat some bloodworms tomorrow.
