I have 3 polys in my 90 gallon tank (2 Senegal’s and one endli) I feed them hikari sinking pellets and tilapia switching each day. The endli hides in rocks never comes out and only eats 1 piece of tilapia every other day if that and that’s by me forcing into the rocks on his head. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated. Also look at pics what’s on his gills? I’ve had him for 2 weeks does it look like he’s healthy compared to when I bought him?7A9BDDE3-5E2B-4E5D-8724-26D956CB8E78.jpegB69162C5-BC83-4E0D-880C-9D764595A344.jpeg 70A9D8B0-E386-4843-AD06-F289835AEB8F.jpeg

Don’t see too well what’s on the gills. Can add some seachem paragaurd if ur worried about. Shouldn’t affect ur BB or most fish. Keep feeding them the tilapia and pellets. They’ll be growing quickly before you know it. It’s filled out compared to the pic in the bag.

Watch as the endli grows it can cannabizenur other endli and Senegalus before you know it.

Thank you and I will watch it. And should I keep basically force feeding it? Or wait for it to come out eventually to eat?
Wouldn’t force feed. Let them eat when able. Small polys especially captive bred will overeat and get more problems. If it’s not putting on weight or remains not active then I’d quarantine it and consider direct feeding (+ or - meds).

Maybe need to clear some floor space, hard to find food when there is alot of rocks, this guys loves floor space and feed them when lights are off, they usually slow on getting to the food cause they use smell and they are basiclly blind.

I may be seeing things but it looks like what is on his gills is just his external gills. Young polys can regrow them when stressed i.e. in a new tank
