any of you guys tried the skippy filtration setup for pond , does it really clears the green water

I haven't tried, it, but I have read about it. I can't imagine how a skippy filter would clear green water...

They're talking about it going thru it's entire cycle "It may take from 4 to 8 weeks before the first cycle happens. Green to Clear. The pond needs to turn green for the bacteria to begin its magic" any bio-filter will do this if it's big enough to use up all the nutrients in the ponds water so there's nothing left for the algae to feed on.

"The top of the filter is a great place for water hyacinth and other plants"

If it were a perfect filter there would be nothing left for plants to feed on.

"After you get the filter up and running, start doing regular doses of beneficial bacteria."

They sell the bacteria...nuff said.

It is a good solid filter design and will do justice to most ponds.

Floating plants, there's still a little space. :D

From the pic your looks like plastic, who's the manufacturer?

Use a marine fiberglass paint.

done a search on marine fiberglass paint , can you provide a link to direct me to the correct product?

The tub doesn't state the manufacturer's name , it was given by a friend to me, the west system epoxy is non-toxic? isn't epoxy is used to strengthen the marine boat, i just need some kind of non-toxic black paint to blacken the inside part of the blue tub, do you know any?

Find a good marine (boat) deck paint (not the anti-fouling bottom paint). Once dry (cured in the event of 2 part epoxy paint) they are fit for fish habitation. Wash first to remove any over spray.
