Skittish jag

In the last 3-4 weeks my jag has gone from oscar like personality to freaking out banging into everything whenever I get near the tank. This happened a while ago to my flowerhorn as well but he/she is back to being fine.

What would possibly cause the change?

Snake_Eyes, we do not have sufficient information to give you a reliable answer. What cover is there, what tankmates are there, and how big is the tank?

Tank is a 125, fish is 10-11", no tankmates, 7 fake plants.

Ammonia- 0
Nitrate- 10-20
Temp- 80
Ph- 8.2

I usually do anywhere from 33-50% WC per week, If I slack off one week I'll make it up the next week and do 75%.
