I've had my 4 rt's and 2 blood parrots for about 2 months now and they are still estreamly skittish. Will they grow out of this or should I take all there hiding places away. If you was to look at my tank you would think its empty because they all hide.

Pretty normal, they come out of it. Don't take away the hiding spots though, they'll just jam themselves behind the filter intake and run into the glass trying to hide.

What temp is the tank and what size?

Its a 55 gal. Its holding two 2 inch rt's and two 2 1/2 inch blood parrots. Water quality is perfect temp is 80 degrees tanks about 31/2 feet off the floor. And they hide at a drop of a hat.lol as you see in the pic you see no fish.if I sit on the couch about 10 feet away they come out.

hhhmmmm..well bro...from when we talked..you are a truck driver right? and you are on the road a lot right? Does your girlfriend spend time around them when she is home. I mean they are just scared bro...I bet if you stand in a room away from them but can still see the tank..they will come out....They just may not be used to you yet..It will take months to get them accustomed to you because you are on the road alot..I don't think anything is wrong with the fish.

My advice is to spend as much time with them as possible when you are home.

Just my 2 cents.
