I have a Red Streak Severum who is around 4 inches and is odd. He freaks out and will dart across the rank and usually ends up smacking into the heater.... I have a Gold Severum in there with him and she is 3 inches. I also have 10 cherry barbs with them in a 75 gallon tank. He seems scared half the time but is now taking to harassing the Gold one after eating. He will chase her around relentlessly for awhile after then settle down and not chase her. I am scared he will bust the heater or hurt himself. Any suggestions?

More dithers, more hiding places, plastic protected equipment :)

I have a ton of hiding places in the form of driftwood and plastic plants. I know they used to have heater guards but I have not seen those for sale in a long time. I bought the Cherry Barbs as dithers because the Red Severum was pretty shy. I am not sure what other fish to put in because I don't want the tank to be overstocked.
