skittish silver

I have a 4-5" silver & he's very skittish, every time I go to feed him he freaks out & the food ends up at the bottom. He won't eat pellets, I'm at a loss any suggestions?

is he new to the tank? you can try adding black water extract to help him feel more secure. if he doesn't want to eat just leave it alone for a few days. should resume feeding after it feels better.

Well kind of, I moved him to a new tank about a week ago & I've only had him for about 3 weeks

he's maybe not used to the new place yet. give it a little more time. blackwater will help.

sometimes aros take a little longer to get used to the new place.
