Hey guys I was planning on doing an Oscar but I'm falling in love with the salvini I have access to a free 55 gallon my question is can I house 2 salvini in a 55 gallon so I can still do a 75 gallon Oscar tank? Or is a 55 too small for 2 of them?

If you get a pair, you could probably keep them in a 55 gallon. I would definitely keep a divider on hand in case things get ugly, salvini are very aggressive. And get to around 7". To get a pair, you should get 5-6 small fish and let them grow up together. Once they are big enough and two pair off, you get rid of the rest or they will be killed. If you just throw two random salvini in, success will be much less likely.
Salvini pair would be fine for a 55g and agree with everything already said.
I wouldn’t do the salvini and Oscar in a 75g. I also wouldn’t recommend an oscar in a 75g. Once full grown, a 4’ tank will be too small.
