lol, very cool, my bearded is a sound sleeper too, he fell asleep in the water dish the other day and I thought he was dead! But, when I picked him up to see, he shook awake, I kinda felt bad too cuz he was all confused...didn't stop him from eating right after though!

Beardeds have a lot of "personality" for a lizard.

While I think that a lot of these behaviors are a result of physiology, a lot of them stem from being somewhat social creatures in the wild.

I think given that a bearded dragon's cage shouldn't drop below 80 degrees with a basking spot of 95-100 or more, removing them from that warm environment and exposing them to room temperature probably better explains your bearded going to sleep with you.

In any event, they are very cool...I lost mine last year. He was 8 years old. I'm not sure I could get another.

ya i have 2 both are awe some they are both so different the male is so intersted in investigating everything, he eats like a pig to. he will be out walking on my floor and all of a sudden heel "dig" under a pair of jeans and just sleep but he loves exploring especially outside.

Dont worry a drop even to the 60s isnt harmfull given that they have the chance to warm up the next morning. A lot of people keep them unheated during the nigth( given that the temp doesant goes below 20 celcius)

mine would go to sleep outside in the warmth on my lap just the same. They are really alot of fun.
