ok i recently set up a 55 gallon tank and when u walk by the floor has a little wiggle to it, not like its going to fall down or anything just makes the water in tank move a little bit how worried should i be about this? i plan on putting some bracing in the floor to hopfully stop it from wiggling, but i really dont want 55 gallons all over my bedroom thx in advance for and help.

You could put a piece of foam between the tank and the stand.

how can i lift 55 gallons?

as long as it isnt real tippy i dont think you have anything to really worry about.. ive had tanks with a little bit of a wiggle to them and they were all fine

anyone else got ideas or opinions?

You could build a sand box and set the whole thing in it...I have heard of that one before as well....

do you think the wiggle is a big deal or am i over exagerating? its a brand new tank btw

When I sent up my 20 gallon, it had a slight wiggle. I had to almost completely empty the tank and slide some cardboard and plastic under the stand. It solved the problem.

I have a friend who has a 55 that gives a little wiggle, and she never had any problems with it, even with her kids running near it.

thx ill probably drain the water into rubernaid bins and put a peice of foam under in thx,
