slightly confused but really happy

Today i went to my cousins house (the one who bought my tank just until i finish my exams) and he told me that a the tank sprung a leak at new years eve when he was having a party. he housing the flowerhorn (4'') in a 33g. however, the thing i am confused about is the flowerhorn seems to be really happy and its hump is growing! he keeps a plank of heavy wood (oak) on top to make sure it doesn't jump out. anyway when i went to see it, it's colours started to go really nice, its pearls started to brighten up and he came straight to the front of the tank, which made me feel really happy, and when i fed him prawns i held it out of the water and he jumped a good 2''! i have never seen him so happy yet he is in a tank half the size of his old one!:confused::eek::confused::eek::drool::ROFL::nilly:

i managed to get a few videos which i will post as soon as i can :)

Probably just karma...LOL.......How much attention were you giving the fish at home....There is probably more foot traffic at his new house, making him more easy around poeple...........

I have a 4" FH in a 30 long right now, and he's more personable in the short month I have had him, than fish I have had for years.

He may feel more secure in a smaller space.
