Slime coat sloughing on giant raphael cat after water change

hi all... just did a reg water change... well water, softened = no chlorine, ph 7.2

Just the giant cat is sloughing slime... rest are cichlids, plecos, clown loaches and redline barbs.

Any thoughts?

Thanksgiving here in Canada today so I cant get more water conditioner and mine has turned a weird orange colour so I’m not adding it.

Something in your water is irritating it. If it didn't do that before when you put water conditioner in, then that's what you need to do.

Thanks Rocksor. I haven’t used conditioner in years since we moved to well water... probably why the conditioner has turned colour.

I’ll pick some up today, tho, and see if that makes a difference.
