A question on what appears to be very slow growth in my endlicheri.
I picked up a scrawny 3.5 inch endi 12 months ago. Now he/she stretchs the tape at just over 11inches. What concerns me is that there has been no real change in length for the past 2 months. The endi's girth is enormous, as large as my 18" ornate(from head to tail, not bloated), however from other threads it seems that the length is just not there.

Water is good, tank is 180g lots of filtration, varied diet-smelt, beef, prawns, clams and massivoire pellets.

Thoughts? am I parinoid? expect too much? or have a stunted endi?

Thanks

am I parinoid? Why do you think its trying to kill you?
expect too much?don't we all
or have a stunted endi?probably not, as the growth in length slows they usually gain girth

Parinoid, it does stare at me when I walk by:) There are so many accounts on here of monster endis growing much faster. My real question should have been at what point does the average endi growth in length slow to a grind?

slow to a grind? depends on the individuals to an extent, but generally 18"+. Of course their growth does slow between 16"-18". anyway occasionally they may hit a growth spurt here and there, so there may be hope.

Agree 100%-mine does go through growth spurts. Bought it nearly a year ago at around 6" and its now 13"+. Didn't eat for around 6 weeks once.
