I had a small ceylonbarb thet lived in my big tank for some months.
My Oscar didn't bother about it's presence anymore.
And my Floride snapped at him a couple of time upon introduction, but he seemed not to care anymore.
Yeah, well, think again.
I came home one night to find this in my tank:

Oh, well, i can't blame him.
It may take some time, but in the end the Gar will have his way with the lil' fish.:D

Should be a clear message that Gars are unpredictable and what you think works for Blah blah time may really not work at all. Just like those Oscars will eventually cause issues also.....But I suppose that enough very clear data regarding that as well is not clear enough.

Actually it's my SD's trying to steal the fish from the gar.
The O's seem to have quite some respect for my O and NEVER bug him at all.
My gar is handfed with fish to make sure he gets what he needs.
Luckily my fish are very gentle and all eat out of my hand...;)
