Has anyone ever tried using a slow sand filter sometimes called gravity sand filter, like they use at waste treatment plants? I I really like the idea but not sure how slow, slow is. I saw a commercial one but the video was broke so I couldn't see how it works. But it seemed to act like a sand filter/protein skimmer combo.
