Has anyone found that Chocolates are slow growers?? I have had mine for about a year and a half and he has spent most of his life in a 270 and I have seen a dramatic amount of growth on him and he eats like a monster. Is this normal?

Perfectly normal :)

Wow fast reply!!! Thanks Santoury I was wondering if something was wrong with him.

Nope - as I mentioned in another post, I've had them on and off for the past 15 years - they're pretty slow.

Babies are a bit more quick to grow, but once they hit the 3 inch stage or so, they slow way down.

how could you keep chocolate that long? i always eat it before i even get it home. i couldnt help my self sorry

LOL good one!

Is a chocolate a coryphaenoides or temporalis? or is that the common name for both

It's a name commonly used for both, but I refer to corpyhaenoides as the chocolate and the temporalis as the temporalis - but don't tell Peanut. he HATES my use of common names LOL
