Slow grow rate azul

I have this Saul which doesn't seem to grow.
The azul n xingu were bought at the same size. The orino was abt half the size of the azul.
Now the xingu getting big n the orino is abt the same size as the azul.


Is it normal?

I've had the same problem with my Common Azul and my Matto Grosso Azul. I think it might have something to with the sex of the fish.

Azul Generally r slow growers but this one is slowest I have ever seen.

Same thing for me too. My azul has only grown maybe 3" in the past year while my orino and tem have put on 12"+
I will probably have to separate soon cause they are dwarfing him..

Depends on the fish imo...I've had 6 azuls and only 2 out of the 4 were slow growers. The three that I have now grew around 1in a month until they hit 12-13in
