slow growing large catfish ??

Hi ,

im after slow growing large catfish , personaly im thinking nouthing that will deffently get over 4 foot , as i want about 2 years before this fish grows 2 foot long .

im thinking the panngassis that you get from the pet shop for around £3.50 , so thats cheap and they stop around 6 inch in most tanks .

first off it is spelled pangasius catfish and I would not get these at all unless you have a very large setup...they are very very skiddish and they get a lot larger then stated above...I had one in my 140 that got to about 23" long...but they indeed do grow slow...but you will have to treat the tank weekly as they run there noses into the glass a lot and rip them open...and you can't keep large rock structure with them as they once again will run into it very hard and can kill them.
