Slowing Down AC Flow

I found this way to be better than using foam blocks. With foam blocks there's no bubbles and with this eggcrate, it creates a lot of bubbles.

it took me a while to get it to fit right (sanding it down) so i don't have to use glue to poison the fish or make it permanent.

Good mod! I always used a cut plastic bottle curled from over the top and around under the water fall, but this one aerates, too! Nice.

what's that do? and what is it's purpose?

if it's just to slow the flow, you can adjust flow by sliding the stem (in mine anyway).

*reading ^this^ back to myself, it sounds kinda snotty. but i assure you, i am genuinely curious.

the flow of the a110 is way too strong for my fish in the 40G and I have two running.
This way, it creates a lot of bubbles other than just current. It's my discus tank and
this cuts down the strong current that the ac110 creates.

Also, the water temp is on the high side so it needs a lot of bubbles...
This helps a lot. Instead of buying another air pump and air stone, I
did this mod and saved me some $$...
