Also upgraded to braided nylon hose, both for length and pressure security on the XP3. Two baskets of Fluval bioMax, one basket of Rena Course sponge and pot scrubs.
Added Fluval Biomax to the Emperor 400's
Placement of both Marineland's sit on far left and far right, placement of the Rena intake is center of the tank, out is far left near the marineland, just under the surface to create motion. In all: 4 large boxes of BioMax, 30 pot scrubs.
Total of 355gal filtration, 1150gph flow rate. (apx.#)

Feeding:
Usually feeding in this tank differs from all my other tanks. I usually feed twice a day, mid afternoon once I am home from work and mid-evening. Their food is a mixture of Nutrafin Max Predator Sticks, Omega One Flakes, Freeze dried Blood worms, Sun Dried Shrimp, Earth worms/Night Crawlers, and when I can stomach not eating them myself Jumbo shrimp (De-shelled)

I am looking for info on how many I can safely stock... I am new to the discus, but have done my reading..
This was prior, a SA cichlid tank, now converting over. I am not sure if I plan to make this solely Discus ~ or if I plan to do a light community.

... Still cant find the number to the pleco... However a friend at a LFS informed me it is a SailFin

....nobody .... nothing .... not even a sorry .... lonely .... ?

...bump pour moi

umm...well im not so sure but atleast now you know someone else read it...

i would use frozen blood worms. I've heard the freeze dried ones can expand in the stomach and can be bad for the fish but im not sure on that. bump the temp so it stays between 82-86.careful with the plecos some like to suck the slime off of your fish everything sound perfect tho so that probably why you didn't really get any responses:D

how big are the discus? imo you are not doing enough wc's. if the discus are less than 4" then you must do a lot more. some people have angels and discus without problems and some have nothing but trouble. I would get more discus as they are a social fish. at least 6 for that tank. don't know much about crayfish but some say they will eat your fish at night. the common pleco will be a problem. it will suck the slime from the discus. they are also poop machines which will lead to more wc's. just my two cents.

How big was he when you purchased him??
How big is he now?
How long have you had him?
Pics of him..........
