Slugs for fish food?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I tried giving a few to my oscars when I had them but they'd just spit them out.

not many things eat slugs, i wouldnt try it

No. But I kept one as a pet in a 1 gallon fish tank when I was 5 years old. His name was larry.

I want a pet slug! Larry is a great name.
They taste very bitter to animals. I haven't tasted one, so I'm not sure, but that's what I'm told. They're bitter and nasty. We have a hobby farm, and during the monsoon season, those things come slime all over the animal food, then the animals won't eat it because even their slime is bitter.
I'm totally keeping one for a pet this year. I need to find out what they need.

They are cute, and make great pets, and yes, some times fish will eat them - usually they spit them out, but sometimes they will spit them out, a few times, and then eat them - usually fish like catfish that just gulp. My bullhead does.
