Hello all,

I am currently setting up a 20g long for my daughter and I am making it a west african set up. I currently have 1 African Butterfly Fish, 5 congo tetras (4 females & 1 male) and a bushynose pleco(yes, I know the pleco is not african). Would one kribensis work in this setting? I have a small tunnel/cave in the tank in the case that I would get one. I've heard controversial info with having an ABF with a krib. Thanks

do those get too big for a 20g?

Cool, me and my dad turned my convict tank into an African tank with six pseudotropheus elongatus. I have one male and five females. i like them alot. :)

kribs should be fine - you could also add an elephant nose to that setup too...

awesome, thanks for the ideas!

or how about an african blockhead cichlid? i have one its only 3" but is very aggressive so any slow movng fish tend to get bullied but tetras etc will be fine - the butterfly fish will b fine with one as the blockhead rarely leaves the bottom
