Alright so I have a slight algae problem on my 2 55 gallons, One has 9 african cichlids, the other one oscar only about 3-4".
I tested the water today and changed some off the oscar tank.
When I tested it before the water change it was as follows
Cichlid-
Ammonia-0
Nitrite-0
Nitrates-~5ppm
Oscar-
Ammonia-0
Nitrite-0
Nitrates-~20ppm
Both tanks have Aqua tech 30-60 filters on em, Not the best but they were free so no complaints here.
These are my only tanks with any algae growing on the glass/sides my pond only has a little that forms on a rock near the basking platform, and my 30gallon has next to none.
