Small alligator gar

Anyone have a true baby or young alligator gar in a tank? I k ow they get big but I'm sure someone has had one before. Any feedback?

Anybody? I'm getting one around 4 inches and just curious. I've had Florida gar and they were peaceful none aggressive unless it was feeding type with minnow or something small.
 
I've seen plenty kept in aquariums, never one large enough. If you want to house it well or healthily you'll at least have to go with quite a large pond. There are countless Alligator Gar that have been kept in small tanks that have stayed small due to nitrate poisoning, crampedness or malnutrition.
 
Got that beauty today so we will see how it goes. I've had the smaller Florida gar and they were awesome.
