Is there such a thing as a small ATF? Like a dwarf maybe? I don't know much about them at all. Just look neat but I'm not gonna buy a fish that gets 3' long.

not really, the ones commonly available - vittatus/forskali are slowing growing but don't stay small.

There is one species that I think only gets 18/24 inches but I forget the scientific name. Maybe brevis.

AN acestrorhynchus is not dissimilar to a small ATF, I've had both and to be honest I prefer acestros.

The two smallest ATF species reported are Hydrocynus tanzaniae, and H. sonorum, the Tanzaniae was reported on another site as getting to 3' but fishbase says 10", a museum site I checked said the specimins they had were between 8-10", they are not common and I can find no record of importation. The H. somonorum is also apparently not imported and gets to 22".
The forskahli is recorded at 31", the brevis at 35", the vittatus at 42", and the goliath at 53"
