some pics of the smaller species of bichirs.

first, two of my palmas palmas.

The first one (yellow) is my biggest one. Its the first one Toyin brought in, so i have it for a few years now, and it's grown a lot.

The lime green on the side of the second (dark) one is actually visible in real life, so its not a camera effect.

nope. other than the occasional movement, not much from either palmas palmas or palmas buettikoferi. Overall, the two behave pretty much the same for me, and they like to hide under things during the day.
 
I like your bichers. My palmas is the sme way hardly moves at all .The only time he really moves is to come up for air.:D
