small bichirs?

Which species of bichir could be kept in a 30gal tank with one or two smallish cichlids? (jewel or convict)..

Never had a bichir before, any help would be awesome.

I would say none. 30 gallon MIGHT be big enough for a senegal for a short time but your jewel and/or convict might be aggressive towards it.

you should be fine with a senegal bichir, they will not grow bigger than a foot in most tanks anyways, just dont have more than a couple of cichlids if you're going to keep them in that tank for their entire lifespan

Yeah, if I did get a bichir, there would be two small cichlids in there at most.
