Any advice, fish seem to be fine...sand bottom, refugium sump system,

180 Fresh, JD cichlid, Red devil, and red tail cat... no worms on or attacking the fish??? nothing that I can see at all on the fish...

water is tinted from two newer pieces of driftwood??

THey stick to the glass, and clog my sock nearly every other day

Thanxs

A picture maybe tomorrow, forgot the camera....

Actually upon closer exam...a VERY small worm crawls from the fish poop looking tube looking thingy....geez its got me!!

I had the same problem a while back and couldn't find any info on them. I was cleaning my filter and noticed the mesh was fiull of tiny centimeter brown worms. I thought it was one of my fishes poop. But there were so many and they didn't seem to break down to slime like poop. I have not seen any of these worms in the filter anymore but now I beleive I am seeing some planaria (white micro worms) in my tank. I left my vac at my friends house so I skipped a vacuum last week. Still changed about 35% of my water.
