Small C. Frontosa

I e-mailed my closed LFS which is 45 minutes away. He told me he had SMALL C. FRONTOSA? Any ideas on it? Max size of them?

I assume he meant he has "small" Cyphotilapia frontosa. They typically grow to about 10-14"

many types of frontosa. id find out what type he has before buying. if he cant tell you then i would leave it. most fish stores will sell very inbred burundi type frontosa. also adult frontosa will require a 6' tank. they also tend to be kinda chill so aggressive tank mates like peacocks, mbuna, trophs ect. are not ideal.

eh not many ziares slip by unidentified. i guess its possible but my guess is burundi, mpimbwe or kigoma if it has 7 stripes instead of 6
