can any only tell me if there is any a small cat around 4inches full grown that can hang with agro cichlids maybe a picture and where to find

Hoplo are quite non-threatening catfish, I keep mine with midas and JD and have no problems. I also have a couple of corydorus that i expected to be eaten by now but they've somehow managed to co-exist.

By the way I had a pictus at about 3", the JD enjoyed eating it. I've heard since that catfish with long barbels cause a bit of grief and sleep disruption to some cichlids.

anyway, why does the cat have to be 4" max, if you are keeping aggro cichlids surely you could have something about 10-12" ? No?

If you want to put a catfish in with some aggressive Cichlids, you probably want the cat to be bigger than 4"

The tank I want a small cat in is my 30 gal with a hardcore red zebra a fisty ahli and a not so bad but can be yellow lab I plan to about summer of this year get a rent house I can do that with but my apt says I can only have one 20g and I just so happen to have fifteen with a 2 inch gt and a little smaller Texas which I'm about to give away so I can have tank room in my planned at least 55g and ilike cats but with tank sizes and my fiancé not so much for whiskers I just would like a smaller one

in that case look at hoplo's...i have one which is around 5inches beautiful and funny to watch and ofcourse different

Hoplos. I have a few... they're real neat lil' cats. And they do well with my cichlids.

Besides different water conditions, hoplos also do not have the disposition to do well with mbunas. I would go with Synodontis petricolas.

I would try a spotted rapheal...
