I’m looking for a catfish that won‘t eat small fish. I have danios and some shrimp. I had a bumblebee catfish that recently passed away from old age and I am looking for a replacement. 35 gallons

All of those catfish listed MAY eat small shrimp. But I would agree that they would be a good option.
You could look into pygmy corys.
Purple oil catfish are similar to honeycombs.
Otos, a farlowella or royal twig catfish would be you best shrimp safe catfish.
You could also try a bn pleco or a clown pleco.

I would rather not get cory cats. I don’t like how they look. What does the honeycomb catfish require?

I never had a problem with a 4 inch bumblebee cat. the only time he ate was when I fed him

you can try a pair of Ancistrus, you can probably be able to breed them.

Kolton13 Kolton13 i like the idea but I already have another tank that I’m doing that in

Would a Zamora woodcat or a driftwood catfish work?
